The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, recap what’s happened at the blog, and talk about things coming up. Let’s go!
Weekly Wrap Up
Hey, look who’s actually done a Sunday Post two weeks in a row! This girl!
Last week was my husband’s birthday! He’s a pretty lowkey guy, so he didn’t want to do much for it. I got him a gift card to a website called the Broken Token, which sells accessories for board games and other cool stuff. He’s already spent it and teased me because he won’t tell me what he bought – I just have to “wait and see.” Such a goofball – I love him so much! 🙂 We’re also taking him out to dinner tonight to one of his favorite restaurants.
In other news, my mom and I have been having fun this weekend. As I’ve mentioned in many past posts, we are big fans of the Korean group BTS and this weekend is the group’s 13th anniversary. They call it “Festa” and usually release a bunch of new content in the weeks leading up to it. Since they are back in Korea on tour, they did a livestream of their concert in Busan and, since I live in the eastern US, that meant getting up at 6 AM on Saturday to watch. I’m sleepy, but it was worth it! They also showed the concert in movie theaters across the world, so we also went and did that last night.
Reading-wise, I am geared up to finish the GoodReads challenge for Spring. I have two books left for the challenge to read by the end of June, one of which I’ve already started. Totally doable. After that, I will be focusing more on my buddy read, since I’ve not been giving that as much attention lately.
