WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

I finished my read from last week, Read Between the Lies by Jesse Q. Sutanto and I could not put it down. There were parts that made me legit uncomfortable, since the main character was bullied a lot when she was in school and it reminded me of similar issues I had as a kid. Just proves that Sutanto is a good writer to provoke that visceral of a reaction!

What are you currently reading?

Currently reading The Book of Doors by Gareth Brown and absolutely loving it. Hoping to finish that one later today, as I only have 100 or so pages left. I am also reading Belladonna by Adalyn Grace. This is the first book in a series that I purchased at Book Warehouse with my friends when we went a couple weeks ago. They also bought this series, so we are having a buddy read over on Discord. It’s been really fun so far, although I haven’t been able to devote as much time to it as I would like.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m mostly focusing on finishing up the GoodReads Spring Challenge right now. I have three categories left, one of which will be fulfilled with The Book of Doors. The other two will be fulfilled with As Many Souls As Stars by Natasha Siegel and The Housemaid by Freida McFadden. I bought a copy of The Housemaid at Book Warehouse, and my library hold of As Many Souls As Stars just came in, so yay! I should easily get both of those read before the end of June, and then I can go back to my other reading challenges and focus more on the buddy read.
