Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is:
Ten Books On My Wishlist
This is a hard list to put together for several reasons. I have a ton of books on my TBR, but I’m also trying to not buy a ton of books right now. My bookshelf situation is getting pretty dire. However, if I were to ask for some new books, here are the most recent additions to my TBR.
- Mercy’s Light by Jess L.M. Anderson
- Wicked Onyx by Debbie Cassidy
- The Works of Vermin by Hiron Ennes
- It Could Have Been Her by Lisa Jewell
- Taipei Story by R.F. Kuang
- The Knife of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness
- Songbird of the Sorrows by Braidee Otto
- Evil Eye by Etaf Rum
- Darker by Four by June CL Tan
- Love, Mom by Iliana Xander
Please leave your top tens in comments!

I hope you get to read these titles soon. My book buying budget is $0 at the moment, so I feel your pain.
I think I spent my book budget for the year when we went to Book Warehouse. Nothing new for me for a WHILE except for library books lol.
I never heard of these!
My TTT: https://laurieisreading.com/2026/06/16/top-ten-tuesday-how-did-i-do-on-my-spring-2026-tbr/
These are all new-to-me authors, so it’s been fun reading new things!
I hope your bookish wishes come true, thanks for sharing your #TTT
Thank you!
Same. My bookshelves are literally bowing under the weight of all my books. I need to read all the unread ones and pass on those I don’t need to keep. Not buying new books would also help, LOL! I did buy the new book in the Chaos Walking series (the spin-off serious), though, because I love that series and my local libraries didn’t carry the new one. Needs must, you know?
Happy TTT!

After writing up this blog post, I actually went through my bookshelves and pulled out all the stuff I could get rid of. Most of them are in really good shape, so they could easily be traded in at the used book store. Which would get me store credit. Which would let me buy more books. The cycle continues. 🙂
The Knife of Never Letting Go is a favorite so I hope you enjoy.
I’m looking forward to it!
Haha, my bookshelf situation is getting pretty dire too. I’m starting to fill my closet with books.
I actually did go through my shelf and pull some books out to trade in at the local used bookstore. Don’t know for sure when that will happen, but at least they’ve been sorted? Progress?
RF Kuang is sure on a lot of peoples’ lists! Enjoy 🙂 My list is here if interested.
