WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Go!
What are you currently reading?
Still currently reading The Girl With the Windup Heart by Kady Cross, but I’m hoping to finish that tonight. I will officially be done with the Steampunk Chronicles! Cross them off the list! That will make it seven series from previous years that I’ve finally finished! Progress!
What did you recently finish reading?
Since I was focusing so strongly on finishing this series, the last thing I read was The Girl With the Iron Touch. Very good. Also, can I just say that I absolutely love the cover art on these? Each one is very simple, but with striking color that just pops. (It doesn’t hurt that this one, featuring Emily O’Brien, is of my favorite character. She’s all kinds of awesome.)
What do you think you’ll read next?
Always a good question. I think the next series I’m going to tackle is the Wolves of Mercy Falls series by Maggie Stiefvater. I read the first book about a year ago, but never read further. I found the second and third books at our local used bookstore, so I’m ready to complete this one. I just need to re-read book one, Shiver, so I can remember what all happened.
Please leave your WWW answers in comments!

I was in the library yesterday and noticed they have a good stock of Maggie Stiefvater’s books. I look forward to hearing if you enjoy Shiver the second time round. It might have to be another series to go on my TBR!

I remember enjoying it the first time, and I probably would have finished the series if I hadn’t gotten distracted. I do that a lot. 🙂
Ahh another person who’s interested in the Steampunk Chronicles! I haven’t found many people who’ve read the books, but I personally really enjoyed the series. I hope you enjoy Shiver as well, I really liked that one too! 😀 Here’s my WWW if you want to check it out! ❤
I remember liking Shiver the first time I read it. I liked her take on werewolves. It will be fun to dive back into those again.
And I have LOVED the Steampunk Chronicles. I actually just finished the last book a few minutes ago on my lunch break. Can’t believe it took me this long to get around to it. 🙂
Fingers crossed you’ll enjoy it just as much (if not more) as the first time! ❤
Yay, so happy to hear that! Better late than never.
Your current and recent reads look good…thanks for sharing. Here’s my WWW WEDNESDAYS POST
Just finished my current read! What a great series – I highly recommend the whole thing. 🙂
I read and enjoyed Shiver ages ago too but, like you, never got around to reading the rest of the series, I hope you enjoy it second time around and that the rest of the series lives up to it. 🙂

Thanks! I’m looking forward to it. 🙂
I hope you enjoy The Wolves Of Mercy Falls series better than I did! It’s not a bad read, but I wasn’t really overwhelmed by it either.
Happy Wednesday! Here’s my WWW.
I remember enjoying the first one. Hoping the rest are good too. 🙂
I remember them being quite similar, so if you enjoyed the first one you will probably like the rest of the series as well. 🙂
I hope you enjoy Steifvater’s series. I’ve been wanting to read her for a while. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!
I’ve read her fairy series, which was pretty good. I’ve heard good things about this one.
You’re right, those covers are really striking. And I am impressed at your progress through various series; I should probably knuckle down and read some that I’ve had on the TBR for years!
Here’s my WWW Wednesday
Thanks! Things were starting to get out of hand with the series. I kept reading the first book – and then nothing else. Trying to stop doing that as much.
Several of my students were a revolving door in the library last year to check out Shiver, so it must have been good! Happy reading!

I read it a while back and remember enjoying it. We’ll see if the rest of the series is as good. 🙂
I didn’t do this meme so I’ll answer it here instead. 😀
I’m currently reading Wonder by RJ Palacio. I just finished The Wednesday Letters by Jason F. Wright. And I will probably read Gus by Kim Holden so I can cross out that “series” already. Hehehe
I’ve been wanting to read the Steampunk Chronicles! I love the covers and I think it’s something I would like. 🙂
I definitely recommend the Steampunk Chronicles. They were very good. Happy reading!
