What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading The Doorknob Society by M. J. Fletcher. This is a book that I got for free on BookBub. I love the cover, and as an added bonus, it fits in with a Seasonal Reading Challenge task.

What did you recently finish reading?

I recently finished two items, both were for the Seasonal Reading Challenge. The first one, Angels & Demons by Dan Brown, is a re-read for me. I know that his books have a lot of controversy attached to them, but they are so much fun to read.

The other book was a bit weird – The Island by Jen Minkman. Another BookBub book, I didn’t realize that this novella is actually a dystopian future fanfiction Star Wars story. There are a few other stories in this series, but I don’t think I will continue with it. The story was fine, but it wasn’t, like, wow.

What do you think you’ll read next?

That is always such a question for me, isn’t it. My first pick would probably be The Impossible Engineers by M.J. Fletcher. It’s the next book in the Doorknob Society series. I like book one so far, so hopefully that will continue.
