Teaser Tuesday for March 3rd

Teaser Tuesday NewHello everyone! Long time, no blog! It has been crazy here, between the wacky weather to stress at the J.O.B. Need to get back to doing things that I enjoy instead of just collapsing as soon as I get home. So on that note . . .

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by MizB at “Should Be Reading.” Here are the rules if you want to play along:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Luke kept asking River questions about where he came from and what he liked to do, but River somehow managed to avoid giving my brother any direct answers in a way that seemed casual but was actually pretty brilliant, if you were really paying attention. Which I was.

Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea

by April Genevieve Tucholke

We’re reading this for the podcast next week and it’s been pretty good so far, although not a lot is happening at the moment. Still, a mysterious guy moving into the guest house on your grandmother’s property . . . it sounds promising!

Please leave your teasers in comments!
