WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What are you currently reading?

As you may have guessed from my teaser yesterday, I am currently reading Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas. I am so excited to finally get to this one! I am also reading It’s Our Time by Diane Krauss, a NetGalley ARC that I have. I’ve only just barely started it though. Also still plugging away at Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling, hoping to finish it this week.

What did you recently finish reading?

After what seems like a very long time . . . . I finally finished Kushiel’s Avatar by Jacqueline Carey! Whoohoo!! This means that I can finally cross off Phédre’s Trilogy from my “Complete the Series” challenge! It’s been a long time coming, I can tell you that!

What do you think you’ll read next?

I have another book that I need to start soon – Lock Every Door by Riley Sager. This is for an upcoming blog tour hosted by the Fantastic Flying Book Club, but I haven’t gotten the ARC for it yet. I’ll be starting this once I get it. I will also be reading Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas, the seventh and final book of the Throne of Glass series, after I finish Tower of Dawn. That will be one more I can cross off the “Complete the Series” list!

Those are my answers for this week! Please share yours in comments!

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On A World Of Words. Three questions, three answers:

What are you currently reading?

As I am getting ready for vacation, I am trying to concentrate on finishing Kushiel’s Avatar by Jacqueline Carey. That is my main focus at the moment, and hopefully vacation will give me some uninterrupted reading time. Also still plugging away at Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling. My goal is to finish it before I leave for vacation, but we’ll see if I make it or not.

What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished Becoming the Witch by J.M. Davies, review coming tomorrow. I enjoyed it, despite being a prequel for a series I haven’t read yet.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Review-wise, I have a book that I need to start soon for an early July release – It’s Our Time by Diane Krauss. I know nothing about this book or this author. I found it by chance on NetGalley and requested it because the description sounded interesting. Besides that, I will be starting Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas just as soon as I finish Kushiel’s Avatar.

WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What are you currently reading?

I am currently really trying to focus on Kushiel’s Avatar by Jacqueline Carey. It’s such a long book, but I really want to knock it out so I can check this trilogy off of my “Complete the Series” goal – it’s been on that list for years.

What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished Where I End and You Begin by Preston Norton, and oh boy, was it good! A very funny read that had sort of a heartwarming ending. My review for it will be this Thursday, so be sure to check it out!

What do you think you’ll read next?

If I don’t start back reading Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas, I think my friend Jess will drive out to North Carolina and shove it in front of my face! So that’s my current plan. I also have another ARC from NetGalley, Becoming the Witch by J.M. Davies, that I need to start, but it’s very short, more of a novella. It’s also the prequel to a series that I’ve never read, so we’ll see how that goes.

Hope you all are having a great reading week!

WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On A World of Words. Three questions, three answers.

What are you currently reading?

I am currently spending most of my time reading Where I End and You Begin by Preston Norton and I’m having so much fun with it! I’m so glad I got this one from NetGalley! Also still reading Kushiel’s Avatar by Jacqueline Carey, although I’ve slowed up a bit on that one. I’ve been doing better, though, about doing my Chapter-A-Long posts for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling, so that makes me happy.

What did you recently finish reading?

Sadly, I haven’t finished any new books since last Wednesday’s post. Things have gotten really busy at work, which makes me super tired when I get home, so my reading has slowed down a bit, unfortunately.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Current plan is still to start reading Tower of Dawn, and then Kingdom of Ash, both by Sarah J. Maas. I’ll start those as soon as I finish reading Kushiel’s Avatar. If I don’t, I have a feeling that my friend Jess will drive out to North Carolina and shove them in my face. 😀

That’s it for me this week. Anyone else reading anything good?

WWW . . . Thursday?? – 5/23/19

WWW New

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. As the name implies, it is usually done on Wednesdays, but since Wednesday was super busy, it’s coming out on Thursday this week. Let’s go!

What are you currently reading?

I just started Where I End and You Begin by Preston Norton. It’s another NetGalley ARC and so far it’s really, really fun. I’ve also been making good progress on Kushiel’s Avatar by Jacqueline Carey so far this week, which makes me happy.

What did you recently finish reading?

Two books for blog tours, both of which were really good: The Bone Charmer by Breeana Shields (blog tour post here) and Art of Death by Becca Vincenza (blog tour post here). I’m really enjoying doing these tours and have discovered some amazing books and authors this way.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I still have Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas to dive into as soon as I can. Book #6 in the Throne of Glass series better answer some questions after that cliffhanger in book #5!

That’s it for right now. Hope you all are having an excellent reading week!

WWW New

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What are you currently reading?

Quite a lot, actually! Still making good progress on Kushiel’s Avatar by Jacqueline Carey, but that one will take a while. This week, I have started two other books in preparation for some blog tours coming up: Art of Death by Becca Vincenza and The Bone Charmer by Breeana Shields. I’ve only read the first few chapters in each, but they are starting out really good. Very, very different reads, the two of them, which is fun. Also still plugging away at Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling for my “Chapter-A-Long” feature. At this rate, I might finish it sometime this year.

What did you recently finish reading?

The last book that I finished was What We Do For Love by Anne Pfeffer for a blog tour. That post went up this morning, so please check it out! These blog tours are so much fun!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Current plan is to wait until I either finish Kushiel’s Avatar, or until I finish all of my upcoming reviews for ARCs (whichever comes first), and then start Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas, so that I can finish that series with Kingdom of Ash. I hate to wait, but I want to be able to fully enjoy it when I read the last two books. Throne of Glass has been a wonderful series so far and I can’t wait to see how Maas wraps it all up.

That’s my reading week! How is yours shaping up?

WWW New

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

First off though, a quick apology for not posting any of my usual Tuesday posts. The day completely got away from me. Also, is anyone else shocked that it’s May already?? Where is this year going!!!

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading What We Do For Love by Anne Pfeffer for an upcoming blog tour. It’s pretty good so far, just getting interesting. It’s also something outside of my usual genres of YA and fantasy, so that’s cool. I am also reading Kushiel’s Avatar by Jacqueline Carey, the third and final book in Phèdre’s Trilogy. Looking forward to crossing that series off of my “Complete the Series” list. I’m also still, slowly but surely, working my way through Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling. Slowly. But surely.

What did you recently finish reading?

I finally finished Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas, and oh boy, what a cliffhanger! This is the fifth book in the Throne of Glass series, and the stakes are so unbelievably high right now! Love it!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Definitely up next is Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas. I need to know what is going to happen. On top of that, I have two other blog tours this month which I will be starting soon: Art of Death by Becca Vincenza and The Bone Charmer by Breeana Shields. Looking forward to digging into those and super excited to go on tour with them.

Have a great reading week everyone!
