What did you recently finish reading?

The end of May was pretty much dedicated to the Empyrean, as I finished both Iron Flame and Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros. I’m glad I reread the first two books of the series, because there was a lot I couldn’t remember. Can’t wait for the next book because there are so many loose ends that need tying up and I have no idea where this is all going.

What are you currently reading?

Right now, I am focusing on finishing up the Spring Challenge on GoodReads. I have four books left, all of which I’ve either already gotten from the library, have on hold waiting to be delivered from the library, or bought at Book Warehouse this weekend. These are all also new-to-me authors, so I’m very excited to check these out. First up is Read Between the Lies by Jesse Q. Sutanto. I already connect with this main character so much and really hope things work out for her.

What do you think you’ll read next?

My next read from the Spring Challenge will probably be The Book of Doors by Gareth Brown. The only thing I know about this book is that there are magical books and possibly a magical bookstore? I’m down for that!
