Book Blogger Hop is a weekly feature hosted by Billy at Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer. Each week, a new book related question is posted and everyone can share their answers. This week’s question is:
As a book lover, what’s your biggest fear?
My biggest fears always involve something happening to someone in my family, but if we’re talking about book related fears, that would be very different. I guess having a fire break out in our house and wreck my library, but I feel like my priorities in that case would not necessarily be on the books.
One thing that I’ve experienced that, while isn’t a fear, is still something that makes me feel pretty devastated is finding out that an author that I really admire is actually a terrible, harmful person. There is, of course, one main example that everyone always talks about, who I will not name here, but it’s actually happened to me three different times. It genuinely hurts.
Be sure to check out the other answers of this week’s Book Blogger Hop and let me know what your biggest bookish fear would be!

This was an interesting topic this week, for sure.
It was. I enjoyed seeing what everyone else had put 😊
Finding out an author you’ve admired isn’t the person you thought they were can really change how you feel about their books. I can definitely understand why that would be such a disappointing experience. Happy Reading!
There are so many books that I used to love that now just give me the ick. Can’t read them any more.
Oh yes. That is truly awful. Neil Gaiman hit me hard.
Yep, he’s one of the three. And I adored his work. It made me so sad when all that came out about him. He always seemed like one of the good ones.
Who are the other two? I want to know who not to support.
JK Rowling and Orson Scott Card
Oh yes, on JK Rowling. 🤦♀️ I didn’t know about Orson Scott Card. Thanks you.
