This week’s teaser comes from War Girls by Tochi Onyebuchi.
She got a taste for combat as a child. And like a child given their first sip of palm wine, she hated the taste. Now, hate or love has nothing to do with it. She needs it.
I’m almost finished with this book and it has been so interesting. I don’t read a lot of hard sci-fi, so this has been fun.
