www-wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On A World Of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

Do you hear that? What is that sound? Oh yeah. It’s the sound of crickets chirping. That’s because I haven’t finished anything new since the last WWW I posted two weeks ago. Why, hello reading slump! How nice it is to see you – not! I do have a reason, not that it’s a particularly good one, but my chronic fatigue has started flaring up again. Probably due to the stress that pretty much everyone is feeling right now. It makes reading hard because my brain is so foggy. I have to focus while I’m at work, so once I get home, I am pretty much out of it for the rest of the evening. It’s frustrating, but I’m going to try and make more of an effort to finish at least one thing. This week.

What are you currently reading?

Still reading The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern and still loving it, despite my lack of progress.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I still plan on picking up The Book Thief by Markus Zuzak, as well as A Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir once I get more progress in on The Starless Sea. After those, I’m not sure where I’ll go next.

Please leave your WWW in comments, and wish me luck that I make more progress this week!

  1. I didn’t even do a post today, since I’ve decided on a two-week interval. Enjoy whatever you read next!

  2. So sorry to hear about your reading slump. I had a similar experience a couple weeks ago, but I think as I adjust to my new reality, my reading life has finally adjusted as well. I do still have to force myself to tune the world out for a little bit, but it is always worth it. Hope you can get out of your slump soon! 3. I really want to read The Starless Sea! But I feel that way about sooo many books on my TBR, argh.

And hey, I try not to be mad at myself when I don’t read. Reading is meant to be fun, not work! If it’s not working for you, that should be totally okay.

    Here’s my WWW post!

  4. I haven’t finished anything in the last 2 weeks either! This lockdown is making it very hard to concentrate on reading. I hope you get out of your reading slump soon 🙂

  5. I literally just posted that I was going to wait until the library had a copy of The Starless Sea available to borrow and then every time I see another blogger reading it I feel myself coming closer and closer to just buying a digital copy!

I’m sorry about your reading slump. So many people, myself included, are experiencing the same. I have swung into craziness and just finding myself in the middle of too many different books. Ugh. Strange times.
