WWW Wednesday – 9/25/19

WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

Um . . . since last week? The only thing I’ve finished isΒ ShantallowΒ by Cara Martin. This book is currently on a blog tour. My stop is tomorrow so be sure to check it out. I wish I had finished more books this week because . . .

What are you currently reading?

Oh boy. Remember last week when I mentioned that I had a bunch of books coming up for review? Yeah, they are all coming up around the same time. This was an instance of me signing up for a bunch of stuff, expecting to get approved for maybe one or two, and then getting approved for EVERYTHING. Which is great, because it means I get to read some great books and work with some great bloggers and blog tour people. But there’s just SO MUCH!

Review copies:

  • The Memory ThiefΒ by Lauren Mansy
  • The Vine WitchΒ by Luanne G. Smith
  • The Smallest ThingΒ by Lisa Manterfield
  • The Athena ProtocolΒ by Shamim Sarif

Plus, I’m still readingΒ A Torch Against the NightΒ by Sabaa TahirΒ (although I have slowed waaaaaay down on it) andΒ Harry Potter and the Half-Blood PrinceΒ by J.K. RowlingΒ (but only one chapter a week for the “Chapter-A-Longs”).

What do you think you’ll read next?

I need to go back through my review stuff. I just got the review copy forΒ Siren SongΒ by Alex Hayes. It’s the third book in theΒ Chameleon EffectΒ series. I read the first two books for a blog tour not too long ago, and so I was really happy they approved me to go on tour with the third one as well. I know I have a few others – my October is going to be a bit busy! – but I need to go through and the rest organized.

In other news, I changed up my blog a bit – new theme, new background, new format. I am so picky with this stuff, but I think it looks really good. Still flowery and colorful, but a bit more muted since we’re heading into autumn.

Please leave your WWW in comments!

  1. I read The Memory Thief, and it was okay for me – I felt like the ending was really rushed. Hope you’re enjoying it more. https://teripolen.com/2019/09/25/www-wednesday-what-am-i-reading-amreading-33/

  2. I’ll have to see what you think about The Memory Thief. I have heard of it before and was intrigued. Now I just might wait and see.

  3. Denise, good luck with all those review books! Certainly got lots to keep you busy and (hopefully) amused! πŸ˜€

p.s. I love your new flowery background πŸ™‚

  4. I totally relate to that feeling of suddenly somehow getting a bunch of approvals you’re not expecting all at once. xD But yay, awesome books! The Memory Thief sounds interesting! Happy reading.

  5. Love, love, love your background! And happy reading! πŸ˜€
