WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
Um . . . since last week? The only thing I’ve finished is Shantallow by Cara Martin. This book is currently on a blog tour. My stop is tomorrow so be sure to check it out. I wish I had finished more books this week because . . .
What are you currently reading?
Oh boy. Remember last week when I mentioned that I had a bunch of books coming up for review? Yeah, they are all coming up around the same time. This was an instance of me signing up for a bunch of stuff, expecting to get approved for maybe one or two, and then getting approved for EVERYTHING. Which is great, because it means I get to read some great books and work with some great bloggers and blog tour people. But there’s just SO MUCH!
Review copies:
- The Memory Thief by Lauren Mansy
- The Vine Witch by Luanne G. Smith
- The Smallest Thing by Lisa Manterfield
- The Athena Protocol by Shamim Sarif
Plus, I’m still reading A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir (although I have slowed waaaaaay down on it) and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling (but only one chapter a week for the “Chapter-A-Longs”).
What do you think you’ll read next?
I need to go back through my review stuff. I just got the review copy for Siren Song by Alex Hayes. It’s the third book in the Chameleon Effect series. I read the first two books for a blog tour not too long ago, and so I was really happy they approved me to go on tour with the third one as well. I know I have a few others – my October is going to be a bit busy! – but I need to go through and the rest organized.
In other news, I changed up my blog a bit – new theme, new background, new format. I am so picky with this stuff, but I think it looks really good. Still flowery and colorful, but a bit more muted since we’re heading into autumn.
Please leave your WWW in comments!

I read The Memory Thief, and it was okay for me – I felt like the ending was really rushed. Hope you’re enjoying it more. https://teripolen.com/2019/09/25/www-wednesday-what-am-i-reading-amreading-33/
I’m enjoying it so far, but I can see what you mean. I’m getting pretty close to the end and there seems like a lot of stuff they need to start wrapping up! We’ll see how it goes. I’m hoping to finish it either this afternoon or tomorrow.
I’ll have to see what you think about The Memory Thief. I have heard of it before and was intrigued. Now I just might wait and see.
It’s pretty good so far. I’m curious to see how it ends, that’s for sure!
Denise, good luck with all those review books! Certainly got lots to keep you busy and (hopefully) amused! 😀
p.s. I love your new flowery background 🙂
Thanks! I’ve been enjoying what I’ve read so far, although most of them have a long way to go yet.
Yeah, I really liked these flowers. I liked how the colors went together. It was just one of the default backgrounds for the theme, but I thought it was pretty. 🙂
Well it is a very nice default background to get. 🙂
I totally relate to that feeling of suddenly somehow getting a bunch of approvals you’re not expecting all at once. xD But yay, awesome books! The Memory Thief sounds interesting! Happy reading.
Oh yes, I’m not complaining! It’s a wonderful problem to have! It was just unexpected and a little overwhelming. The Memory Thief has been really good so far. I should have the review up this weekend.
Love, love, love your background! And happy reading! 😀
Thanks! I fell in love with it too! Happy reading to you too!
You’re so very welcome! 😀
