WWW Wednesday – 9/25/19

WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

Um . . . since last week? The only thing I’ve finished is Shantallow by Cara Martin. This book is currently on a blog tour. My stop is tomorrow so be sure to check it out. I wish I had finished more books this week because . . .

What are you currently reading?

Oh boy. Remember last week when I mentioned that I had a bunch of books coming up for review? Yeah, they are all coming up around the same time. This was an instance of me signing up for a bunch of stuff, expecting to get approved for maybe one or two, and then getting approved for EVERYTHING. Which is great, because it means I get to read some great books and work with some great bloggers and blog tour people. But there’s just SO MUCH!

Review copies:

  • The Memory Thief by Lauren Mansy
  • The Vine Witch by Luanne G. Smith
  • The Smallest Thing by Lisa Manterfield
  • The Athena Protocol by Shamim Sarif

Plus, I’m still reading A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir (although I have slowed waaaaaay down on it) and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling (but only one chapter a week for the “Chapter-A-Longs”).

What do you think you’ll read next?

I need to go back through my review stuff. I just got the review copy for Siren Song by Alex Hayes. It’s the third book in the Chameleon Effect series. I read the first two books for a blog tour not too long ago, and so I was really happy they approved me to go on tour with the third one as well. I know I have a few others – my October is going to be a bit busy! – but I need to go through and the rest organized.

In other news, I changed up my blog a bit – new theme, new background, new format. I am so picky with this stuff, but I think it looks really good. Still flowery and colorful, but a bit more muted since we’re heading into autumn.

Please leave your WWW in comments!

  1. I read The Memory Thief, and it was okay for me – I felt like the ending was really rushed. Hope you’re enjoying it more. https://teripolen.com/2019/09/25/www-wednesday-what-am-i-reading-amreading-33/

  2. I’ll have to see what you think about The Memory Thief. I have heard of it before and was intrigued. Now I just might wait and see.

  3. Denise, good luck with all those review books! Certainly got lots to keep you busy and (hopefully) amused! 😀

p.s. I love your new flowery background 🙂

  4. I totally relate to that feeling of suddenly somehow getting a bunch of approvals you’re not expecting all at once. xD But yay, awesome books! The Memory Thief sounds interesting! Happy reading.

  5. Love, love, love your background! And happy reading! 😀
