WWW Wednesday – 9/18/19

WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

I finished Eve 2.0 by Winter Lawrence for an upcoming blog tour. The stop for me is tomorrow, so be sure to check it out! I also am very happy to say that I finished Queen by Aimee Carter, which is the third and final book in the Blackcoat Rebellion trilogy and MY FOURTH SERIES FINISHED OFF MY “COMPLETE THE SERIES” LIST!!!! Seriously, you guys, I am so proud of myself!!

Also, I had one of those amazing book experiences where you pick up a book and almost cannot stop reading it until you finish the whole thing. I started The Grace Year by Kim Liggett yesterday morning . . . and finished it last night. Kinda blown away by this one, to be honest. Still in a little bit of shock.

What are you currently reading?

I am still reading Shantallow by Cara Martin, which is getting really spooky. I’m reading it for a blog tour which will be later this month. I’m also reading The Memory Thief by Lauren Mansy, which is  NetGalley ARC I almost forgot about. I did start A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir, the second book in the An Ember in the Ashes series, but haven’t gotten too far into it yet. Also still plugging away at Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling for my Chapter-A-Long project.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Let me actually look over what reviews I have coming up instead of completely blanking on this one like I did last week lol (hello, The Memory Thief and The Grace Year, which I didn’t mention at all)! I have a few review ARCs coming up in the beginning of October, which I will be starting soon: The Vine Witch by Luanne G. SmithThe Athena Protocol by Shamim Sarif, and The Smallest Thing by Lisa Manterfield. All of these are new authors to me that I don’t know much about, so I’m excited to dig into them. Other than ARCs, I plan to read A Reaper at the Gates by Sabaa Tahir, the third book in the An Ember in the Ashes series, as soon as I finish A Torch Against the Night.

So that’s what I have going on right now. Not gonna lie, I’m feeling a little bit overwhelmed, especially since there were a few ARCs that I almost forgot about. That’s not like me – usually I stay pretty organized. In any case, I hope everyone else is having a great reading week and please leave your WWW in comments!
