Today is another two-for on the blog today, just because I love these two particular features. They are fun and I always enjoy seeing what other people are posting.
WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Go!
What are you currently reading?
I am very excited by this book – Anger is a Gift by Mark Oshiro. I’ve mentioned many times on this blog that I enjoy the website Mark Reads. Well, after many years of reviewing books a chapter at a time, turns out Mark has written his own novel. And it’s REALLY GOOD! I’ve only made it half-way through so far – unfortunately it has been a victim of my reading slump – but I am getting back to it now.
Also reading Wild Things by Chloe Neill, the 9th book in the Chicagoland Vampires series. According to GoodReads, I had read this one before, but I don’t remember much about it. In any case, I am trying to finally finish this series this year, which would mean re-reading it anyway.
What did you recently finish reading?
Finished reading Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett last night. Another re-read, but so, so very good. And by coincidence, I was re-reading it in order to read along with Mark’s reviews over at Mark Reads. I think I read it with him the first time too, but I’ve been trying to catch up on all the books he’s reviewed, which has meant going back in time and revisiting some things.
What do you think you’ll read next?
The only one I know definitively I’ll be reading next is the next Chicagoland Vampires book, Blood Games. According to GoodReads (because I really can’t keep track of this stuff on my own), this is the last book of the series that I read last time, so anything after that is going to be brand new. There are 13 books, so I still have a handful to go before actually finishing the series, but I’m gonna do it! I might just binge those until I’m done – they are really fun to read, and then I’ll be able to cross off a series off my list.
That’s my answers for this week! Please leave yours in comments!

Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
Sounds great. Going to check out Mark Reads…and maybe that Gaiman/Prachett. My vampire series of choice is Anne Rice. Never heard of the Chicagoland series but maybe I’ll check that out as well, emphasis on the maybe. Here’s my post https://wadadlipen.wordpress.com/2018/07/05/just-a-little-book-chat
I started reading the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles this year (well, I had read Interview several years ago, but re-read it this year and then read The Vampire Lestat). I need to get back to those. The Chicagoland series is very different, much more modern, much more paranormal romance. They are a lot of fun to read.
And yes, do check out Mark Reads! He is so funny, his reviews are always insightful and enthusiastic. He is never prepared for anything, and his delight, shock and awe is always fun to watch.
