Wow, blog. It’s been a while. Long time, no see!

It’s a bit dusty in here. Maybe I just need to open a window
Greetings everyone! I have missed you all terribly, however a myriad of things has gotten in the way of me doing, well, a lot of things. Let’s just say that lately I have only had the energy to stare at silly cat videos on YouTube at the end of the day. It’s sad, really. My creative energy has been zapped pretty bad, but I am working to get it back, starting with my blog. Because, like I said, I miss you guys. I miss being a part of this book blogging community. You guys are awesome and responsible for at least half of the books on my TBR at the moment.
Starting off with a nice, relaxing Teaser Tuesday post. Teaser Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by MizB at her new website, A Daily Rhythm. Here are the rules if you would like to play along.

This week’s teaser comes from the book we will be reviewing on the podcast that I co-host (Bibliophiles Anonymous, for anyone who doesn’t remember – we’ll be back soon, maybe this weekend???).

I am really enjoying this book, and since I’m about three quarters of the way through at this point, the you-know-what is about to go down! Like I said, we are reviewing this for the podcast, in a much different format than we used to. It should be a lot of fun. I will probably also post up a review here at some point.

Sounds creepy. I like the description of the character’s physical reaction — the itchy throat and tight lungs. Lots of tension.

I always end up missing the book blogging community as well when I’m away for a bit and I’m glad you’ve found your way back! ‘My Soul to Take’ sounds fascinating, I would definitely want to read more.
