October has continued to be very busy for me as work is picking up and I closed one show and started rehearsals for another show. Did I still keep up with books and blogging? Actually . . . yes? I did?

I mentioned a while back that I had moved some of my reading tracking to Hardcover. They have a website and an app and so far I’ve really liked it. They have a lot of cool features and are looking to add more every day. One of those features is called Monthly Wrapped and creates cool graphics for your monthly reading. Isn’t it cute! But anyway, five books in one month is pretty good for me, especially lately – I’ve usually been averaging four – so I’m definitely happy with this.
Challenge Updates
GoodReads Challenge: My goal was to read 52 books this year. I am currently sitting at 43 books read, leaving me nine books to read before the end of the year. If I keep up with my current pace, it’s definitely doable.
GoodReads Choice Awards Challenge: My goal was to read all of the winners of the GoodReads Choice Awards from last year. This month, I read Witchcraft for Wayward Girls (Best Horror) and The Compound (Best Science Fiction), bringing my total to 10 out of 13 read. Only three more! I should actually be able to completely this one this year!
Beat the Backlist: Surprisingly, I actually technically added to this one with The Marlow Murder Club and The Water Dancer, completing the “BFFs” and “Award Winner” prompts, respectively. It wasn’t even really intentional, but I supposed I should still count it. Maybe I will actually make a bingo on this thing!
Blog Updates
Blogging is still going pretty strong, despite everything else going on right now. Let’s take a look at the breakdown:

That’s 21 posts for the month, which I think is pretty good. I’m still doing fairly well with reviews, although I’ve slacked off a bit. I’m starting to fall pretty far behind again. Need to work on that at some point.
Overall, October was a productive month. I feel pretty good about how things are going, even though I am pretty tired right now. I know November is going to be even more hectic, but my goal is to keep up the productivity and positivity going. Wish me luck!
