What did you recently finish reading?
I just finished The Marlow Murder Club by Robert Thorogood yesterday and really enjoyed it. It’s a pretty quick read with quirky characters trying to solve a murder in a sleepy British town. It is part of a series, but I’m not sure if I will continue with it or not. Maybe someday, just not right now.
What are you currently reading?
Today I will be starting The Compound by Aisling Rawle. I was going to check it out from my library, but they only have one physical copy and one eBook copy in the whole system, so the wait is really long. I guess it’s really popular, which makes sense since it won Best Sci-Fi at the GoodReads Awards last year and was a Good Morning America Book Club pick. I went ahead and just bought the eBook.
What do you think you’ll read next?
At this point, I have two prompts left for the GoodReads Fall Challenge, but they won’t be revealed until November 1st. I’m hoping that Hollywood, Ending by John Green is on one of the prompts so I can go ahead and read it. Even if it isn’t, I may just sneak it in there just because. Or I may do something completely different. Who knows?
