Weekly Wrap Up
This has been a looong week. Work has been ramping up as we barrel towards fundraiser season and I also had to work in the store on Saturday. Needless to say, I am very tired.
On top of that, this weekend is the final weekend of Ragtime. This show has been such a blessing to me. It has made me realize how much I love theater and how much I have missed doing it. Has it been easy? Not at all. There are so many things that my body doesn’t do anymore. But it’s possible. I had been so afraid of doing this because of my physical limitations and now, I honestly feel like I can do anything. Our last performance is today and there will be some tears. I will be sad to see this show and this cast go, but forever be grateful to have been a part of it.
Last but certainly not least, today is a very special day – my daughter’s birthday! She is 22 years old today, which feels absolutely insane. We celebrated her birthday last week since this weekend is so hectic. My sweet little girl became a delightfully snarky, wickedly smart, quick witted and creative young woman who keeps me on my toes. I love her so much. ❤
