What did you recently finish reading?

Since last WWW a few weeks ago, I finished Not Quite Dead Yet by Holly Jackson. I actually finished this one in two days! Not just because I was stuck sitting at the mechanic shop waiting on my car a lot, but it was also really, really good. It won the GoodReads Choice Award for Best Mystery/Thriller last year and I can definitely see why. I also finished The Everlasting by Alix E. Harrow. I did enjoy that one, but not as much. It took me a long time to get into the story, although once I did, I was hooked.

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V.E. Schwab. This one had been on my radar, but since it won the GoodReads Award for Best Fantasy, it got moved up the TBR. I’m about halfway through right now and really enjoying it.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I think most likely I’ll start my reread of Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. I want to read Onyx Storm eventually and I don’t remember enough of the first two books to jump into it.
