I’m a bit late this month, but there’s just been a lot going on, including a new bookish project in the works. More on that later. For now, let’s discuss the month of May.

Ten books for the month is a very good month for me, especially since I’m trying to make up for only reading four books in April. I was pretty happy with this progress!
Challenge Updates
GoodReads Challenge: My goal for the year is to read 100 books. As of the end of May, I am at 39 books read. This is still slightly behind schedule, but catching up.
Complete the Series: My goal was to finish six series on my list (you can see the list here). I didn’t do a whole lot with this one, although I started the Shadow World series by Dianne Sylvan in order to attempt completing it when the last book comes out in November, so I’m still at three series complete for the year. I did complete the two new series I read this month – Banded by Logan Byrne and Incubation by Laura DiSilverio.
Beat the Backlist: My goal was to read 25 books off of my owned TBR lists (i.e., the books that I own but haven’t read yet – there’s a lot). This month, I did pretty well with this one, reading three books off my TBR: Allusion by Andi Hyldahl, Banded by Logan Byrne and Incubation by Laura DiSilverio. This brings my total for the year so far to 14 books, which is over half way done! Not too shabby!
A-to-Z Challenge: In May, I added five books to my A-to-Z challenge! This brings me up to 19 letters filled in, with only 7 to go! Some of those last ones will be difficult, but between my massive TBR and looking up lists on GoodReads, it is more than doable before the end of the year. Here’s what I added:

Blog Updates
Eh, the blog did okay this month. I’ve done better and I’ve certainly done worse. I had 12 blog posts in total, which included several reviews. My goal for June and July is to try and get caught up on reviews as much as I can. Yes, I know, a lofty goal for sure and one that I never seem to keep up with. I’m going to try this time, I swear!

Three reviews in one month is so good for me, you guys! I’m actually really proud of that. This is part of why I like doing this monthly wrap ups – I totally thought my blog did terrible when I first started writing this post, but looking back on it like this shows me that I need to have more confidence in myself. I may not be able to say the same for June, since I’m picking back up halfway through the month, but all I can do is do my best.
