WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
Since my last WWW post, I’ve finished quite a few things. I finished Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin and it was absolutely wonderful. So many feelings about that one! I also finished The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton – this one was also very, very good. It seems like a lot of people didn’t like it for some reason? I don’t understand why. It was so mysterious and I couldn’t put it down. I also finished Wilder Girls by Rory Power, which I had high hopes for but was a bit disappointed by. I still enjoyed the read, but several things really bothered me (especially the ending, UUGGHHH!) Last but not least, yesterday I finished The Dust of 100 Dogs by A.S. King. I had read it before a few years ago but wanted to read it again since I put it on my husband’s reading list for this year.
This is what happens when I take a break from blogging – I have too much to report!
What are you currently reading?
I’m starting off February with a book that I’ve had on my shelf for a while – Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake. I was a big fan of Anna Dressed in Blood so I have high hopes for this one. It’s the first book in a series of four. I have decided to mostly focus on reading one book at a time instead of having several going at once. I’m taking this month off from the book club partly for that reason. And since this is the first in a series, that means . . .
What do you think you’ll read next?
I plan on reading One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake, which is obviously book #2 in this series. The only thing that would stop me is if the first book is just plain awful, and even then, I’d probably give the second book a try, just for giggles. But I’m sure it will be good. The premise sounds interesting. I also really like the dark and simple cover art.
That’s my reading for the week! Please leave your WWW in comments!

I finished The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle still really liking it, but I recall being a little annoyed that it broke it’s own rules at one point, though I’m foggy on the specifics of how at the moment. Not sure if that’s why other people don’t seem to be liking it, but that’s my two cents.
