WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
Can I have a drum roll please . . . .
I finally finished Bone Magic by Yasmine Galenorn! Yay!!! I have had such a weird reading block with this book. Not because it wasn’t good – I definitely enjoyed it. I just had a hard time actually picking it up and reading it. Honestly not sure why. This was even a re-read, so I knew exactly what sort of paranormal fun sexy times I was getting into. Oh well. More progress made in the 21 book Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series. Will I actually finish it this year? Who knows. This is only book #7, so I have a long ways to go,
What are you currently reading?
I am still reading and making good progress on Finale by Stephanie Garber. I thought I would have finished it by now, but I spent more time this week trying to wrap up Bone Magic. I’m not starting anything new until I finish Finale though – I need to know what happens with this series! There are so many twists and so many ways things can go very, very wrong. I’m so invested!
I had originally planned to try and start the next Otherworld book but didn’t get around to it. It’s coming soon though!
What do you think you’ll read next?
Last week for Top Ten Tuesday, I posted by Summer TBR list. I don’t usually make seasonal TBRs but actually really enjoyed making this one. So I am going to do my best to follow it. I will still have one primary book focus at a time, while still reading one of the Otherworld books on the side. If I don’t do that, I’ll never finish them. I meant to start Harvest Hunting by Yasmine Galenorn right after I finished Bone Magic, but as I said, I want to finish up Finale first. I still plan on reading Still Just a Geek by Wil Wheaton, which is obviously a standalone, after which I will be jumping back onto the next series on my “Complete the Series” list. My next target will be The Demon King by Cinda Williams Chima, book #1 in the Seven Realms series. I’ve read it before and really enjoyed it, but never read the other three books, so I’m looking forward to it.
The other thing that will be impacting my future reading is that I will be going on a family vacation the last week in July. I know I will be able to get some reading it, but just how much may depend on what I can fit in my suitcase, especially since I’m trying to read more physical books these days.
