WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
Since last week, I finished reading The Conference of Birds by Ransom Riggs, book #5 in the Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series. I am enjoying this series even more than I thought that I would, and I had high hopes after the first one. There are so many interesting concepts and ideas that Riggs uses in this series and I am so excited to be close to finishing it after so many years. I’m also enjoying focusing more on one book at a time instead of having several going all at once. My befuddled brain can’t handle more than that right now!
What are you currently reading?
I have finally gotten back to reading Bone Magic by Yasmine Galenorn, book #7 in the Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series. This one is the exception to the rule that I am only reading one book at a time these days, something that I can read on my phone when carrying a physical book is too cumbersome. Because yes, in addition to cutting back on my reading multiple books at a time, I am also trying to read less ebooks and more physical copies. This series is just fun, quick and easy to read. I need those sometimes.
I also just started The Desolations of Devil’s Acre by Ransom Riggs, the sixth and final book of the Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series. I am so excited to see where this story ends up. The last book ended on such a cliffhanger and, at the moment, it truly seems like all is lost. An evil power set loose. A complicated and confusing prophesy that could save the world, if only anyone knew what it actually meant. Beautiful friendships that become found family. I can’t wait to see how this series wraps things up.
What do you think you’ll read next?
My plan after finishing the Miss Peregrine books is to jump back into the world of Caraval. I already have Legendary by Stephanie Garber checked out from the library and have Finale by Stephanie Garber getting transferred to my local branch so I can check it out next. I absolutely loved the first book and can’t wait to sink back into this world again. Can we also take a second and appreciate the beautiful cover art for this series! They are absolutely stunning.
That’s it for me this week. Please leave your WWW in comments!

I still have to finish the Caraval series. I read Legendary not too long ago and I’m looking forward to reading Finale this Summer.

I start series and then forget to finish them – usually because the next shiny thing comes along! I’m trying to do better about that. 🙂
There are just so many exciting things out there! Bookstagram is a nightmare for showing you all the great books there are!!
