WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
Since last week, I finished Caraval by Stephanie Garber and I absolutely loved it. It reminded me in many ways of The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, which is one of my all time favorite books. It was so haunting and magical, but in a slightly sinister way. I definitely plan on reading the rest of this series. I also really like that it’s a trilogy instead of a huge series. I can just sit back and enjoy without getting too overwhelmed.
What are you currently reading?
I started The Conference of the Birds by Ransom Riggs earlier this week. This is book #5 in Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series, so I am working my way through that one. Only one more book to go and I’ll be able to cross another off my “Complete the Series” challenge. I’ve really been enjoying how he incorporates the vintage photography into the stories, plus who says that grown up books shouldn’t have pictures!
What do you think you’ll read next?
I definitely plan to read The Desolations of Devil’s Acre by Ransom Riggs, the sixth and final Miss Peregrine’s book. After that, I will jump back into the world of Caraval with Legendary by Stephanie Garber, book #2 in that series. I also really want to get back to reading the Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series, so I will try to start over with Bone Magic by Yasmine Galenorn. I don’t know if I will be able to finish this series this year or not – there are over twenty books in the series, but they are also all fairly quick reads. It would feel really good to finally be able to cross that series off my list as well.
That’s my reading list for the week! Please leave your WWW in comments!
