www-wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

I managed to finish both of my reads from last week, so yay! That means that I can add The Crown of Embers by Rae Carson (book #2 in the Girl of Fire and Thorns series) and The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow to my list of books read this year. Reviews will be coming soon – I am also trying to work through the last few reviews left over from last year.

What are you currently reading?

As discussed, I picked back up on the Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series by starting Dragon Wytch by Yasmine Galenorn. This is book #4 in the series and while I think I’ve read it before, I don’t remember much about it and I never got around to reviewing it here (I have written reviews for WitchlingChangeling and Darkling back when I first read them in 2014). I also started reading The Bitter Kingdom by Rae Carson, book #3 in the Girl of Fire and Thorns series. This book feels very different from the first two and I am really enjoying it so far. I am also reading Axiom’s End by Lindsay Ellis, book #1 in the Noumena series. This is a re-read for me, as I read it last year (review here). Since the second book in the series came out a few months ago, I want refresh myself before I dive into it.

What do you think you’ll read next?

It’s kind of nice to be in the middle of series because this question is super easy now. As mentioned previously, I definitely plan on reading Truth of the Divine by Lindsay Ellis, book #2 in the Noumena series. I had also planned on reading The Empire of Dreams by Rae Carson because GoodReads listed this as the fourth book in the series. However, upon further review, it looks like it might be a standalone book written in the same universe, so I’m a bit on the fence. It does seem to be about a character that I really like (if I’m guessing correctly) so I might give it a go anyway, even though I will have technically already finished the series. I definitely will be reading Night Huntress by Yasmine Galenorn, book #5 in the Otherworld/Sisters of the Moon series. Not only do I want to make progress on the series, but the next book is from the point of view of Delilah, who is my favorite of the three sisters.

That’s it for me this week! Please leave your WWW in comments!
