Teaser Tuesday – December 7, 2021

tuesday

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Ambrosia at The Purple Booker. Here are the rules if you want to play along:

  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

This week’s teaser is from Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again.

Yep, took a surprise visit to Panem this week. Not sure why. Just felt like re-reading the series again. It’s so good.

Please leave your teasers in comments!

  1. Nice teaser. A dandelion seems perfect in that quotation. My teaser is from The Stupidest Angel by Christopher Moore https://razzberrycoloredglasses.blogspot.com/2021/12/teaser-tuesday-stupidest-angel-by.html

  2. Great excerpt! Thanks for sharing, and here’s mine: “THE WIDOW”
