WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Worlds. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
Here is a surprise. I recently finished Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty. This was not on my list, but I was really starting to get tired of the Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi. I had high hopes for that one and even started reading Ignite Me, which is the third book in the series, but in the end it was too much. Trying to continue reading it was contributing to my reading slump. Proof? I read Nine Perfect Strangers in two sittings, reading the first 75% of the book in one night.
What are you currently reading?
As another new and unplanned choice – I am currently reading The Anthropocene Reviewed by John Green. I’ve had this book on my shelf for a while ever since I pre-ordered it. I love John Green but this is completely different since it is non-fiction. Basically, it is a collection of essays and reviews of a bunch of random things. I’ve only just started but I’m really enjoying it so far.
What do you think you’ll read next?
At this point, I have no idea, since my last read and current read were completely unexpected. Any suggestions? I’m up for anything at this point. I have a vague idea of doing a re-read of The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, since it just had its 10th anniversary and it’s one of my favorite books of all time.
That’s it for me this week. Please leave your WWW in comments!
