www-wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

I haven’t finished much since the last time I posted a WWW post. There has been a lot going on in my life, most recently having caught COVID. I’m still recovering, although it hasn’t been too bad. I am very lucky that I am fully vaccinated. Mostly now I’m just super tired all the time which, as a chronic insomniac, isn’t great. All that said, I did finish Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi, book #2 in the Shatter Me series, but that is the only new book I have finished.

What are you currently reading?

Currently reading Fracture Me by Tahereh Mafi, which is a novella in between books #2 and 3 in the Shatter Me series. I will most likely finish it tomorrow since it is only 63 pages long. I need to get more progress into The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien. I’m still technically currently reading it, but haven’t done much with it recently.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Well . . . I’m trying to decide if I want to continue with the Shatter Me series. Part of me wants to finish it for my inner completionist’s sake, but so far the series has been mostly just . . . meh. I’m not really connecting with it much lately. Not that it isn’t good – I am very aware that it might just be me. I’m going to make up my mind after I finish Fracture Me. If I do decide to continue on, I will be reading Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi, which is book #3.

That’s it for me this week. Please leave your WWW in comments!

  1. Your books do sound tempting. Thanks for sharing, and here’s MY WWW POST

  2. Finished- Nevermoor
    Currently- Wundersmith
Next- The Day the World Came to Town

  3. Oh my goodness, I hope you are feeling 100% soon and your insomnia goes away! I felt such a sense of satisfaction when I finished the LOTR trilogy, mainly because I suffered mightily with the Ents.

    Happy reading!
