What did you recently finish reading?

I finished Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard last week. I’m so glad that I did. I had tried to read it a few years ago but for some reason never got through it and missed the big twist at the end. Ahhh!!! Because of that . . .

What are you currently reading?

I had to jump into Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard, book #2 in the Red Queen series. I couldn’t help myself. Also made some progress with The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien. I’m putting The Remedy by Suzanne Young on hold for right now, since I really want to work on getting through the Red Queen series. I would have probably tried to continue both if The Remedy was a continuation from the first two Program books, but since it’s kind of a separate thing, I feel okay stepping away from it. I will finish the series at some point.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I will definitely read King’s Cage by Victoria Aveyard, book #3 in the Red Queen series, as well as The Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien. I also still need to get started on The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss for the Nerdist Book Club, but I’ve been putting it off. I’ve read it before but it’s just such a chunky book. Over 700 pages long!!! It’s a lot!!!
