WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
I finished The Program by Suzanne Young this week, which I’m very happy about. This is the first book in The Program series and it’s one on my “Complete the Series” list. Hoping to finish the next five books in the series. This is the only book I’ve finished this week, but lately, as long as I finish at least one book between these WWW posts, I feel good. I’ve accomplished something, even if it’s at a much slower pace than I used to do. Nothing wrong with that.
What are you currently reading?
The only things I am actively reading are from last week’s post: The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien and Dark Disciple by Christie Golden. Both are very different – one is a fantasy classic and the other is a Star Wars novel. They balance each other out quite well, actually.
What do you think you’ll read next?
This answer hasn’t changed from last week – I just haven’t gotten around to starting these yet. I got my copy of The Treatment by Suzanne Young, book #2 in The Program series. I also will be starting Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard hopefully this week as well. Other than that, my only current future plan is to read The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien after I finish Fellowship.
Hope you are all having a good week! Please leave your WWW in comments!

I’ve been wanting to read The Program for quite a while! I also am waiting to start Red Queen! I have book 1, 2 and 4 from the library and I don’t want to start until I have book 3 as well so I can read them all in one go!
I think I’m going to try and finish The Program series before I start Red Queen. It seems overwhelming to have two series going on at the same time.
The Program and The Treatment sound good! Enjoy, and here’s MY WWW POST
I’m enjoying them. 🙂
I do love The Lord of the Rings trilogy, I haven’t read them for ages and was hoping to fit them in this year. The Two Towers was always my favourite book out of the 3. Hope you have a good week.

It has been a while for me too. Going back and reading them again has been fun.
I always love rereading books that I know I love. They are like a comfort blanket.
Lord of the Rings gets better every re-read – I even liked the bumbling around the Shire bit last time round. Think Two Towers is my favourite though!

I think Two Towers was my favorite as well. Fellowship is good, but the Bombadill chapters and the Council of Elrond chapters drag a bit.
Enjoy your Tolkein! My WWW Wednesday post is here: https://wordywitterings.com/?p=673
Thank you!
I’m reading The Fellowship of the Ring right now, too! And how did I not know there were that many books in The Program series??? I read the first 2 forever ago and very much enjoyed them at the time. Enjoy your reads!
There are six regular books and then three novellas that take place in between certain books. I didn’t realize it either – I thought it was a trilogy for the longest time! Not sure where I got that idea. Hope you are enjoying your reading of Fellowship!
