What did you recently finish reading?
I finished two books this past week, both of which I was very excited about. I finished The Rules for Breaking by Ashley Elston. This is the sequel to The Rules for Disappearing, which you can see my review for here, but it’s also exciting because it is the first series off of my “Complete the Series” challenge that I’ve finished for the year! Granted, it’s a series with only two books in it, but still! I’ll take progress any way I can get it! The other book I finished last week was Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia, reading along with the Nerdist Book Club. This book was so dark and creepy. I loved it!
What are you currently reading?
I am still reading Each of Us a Desert by Mark Oshiro and I am kind of blown away by it. It’s a really beautiful book so far and I can’t wait to see where he’s going with all of this. Speaking of Mark, I am also still reading Looking for Alaska by John Green with him over at Mark Reads. I went back a few years with his reviews in order to catch all of them. It’s so much fun. The other book I am currently reading is the next book with Nerdist Book Club, Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. I read this whole series two years ago so it’s nice to revisit how it all started.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I still want to start my re-read of The Bone Charmer by Breeana Shields as my next series to try and complete. It’s another duology, so it should be pretty quick. I’m waiting to start it until I finish up either Each of Us a Desert or Looking for Alaska. Other than that, I expect that Mark Reads will start Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien after Looking for Alaska so I will be reading that. I have a few other books on my TBR that I’m trying to pick from, but not sure where I’m going with that. Maybe I’ll set up a poll and have you guys help me decide. 🙂

Life With No Plot

I’ve heard really good things about Mexcian Gothic! I’m so intrigued by that, I need to get to it.
I started Fellowship of the Ring(still need to finish it). I love the movies, but never read the books.
