WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On A World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
Since last week, I have finished reading The Athena Protocol by Shamim Sarif. You can read my review and check out the blog tour for that one here. It was really, really good! I also just finished The Smallest Thing by Lisa Manterfield. I really enjoyed that one as well. The review will be up tomorrow, so be sure to check it out!
What are you currently reading?
I just started Siren Song by Alex Hayes. This is the third book in the Chameleon Effect series. I really enjoyed the first two books (you can see the blog tour post on those here) so I’m looking forward to reading this third installment. I am also reading Angel Mage by Garth Nix, which I’ve only barely started, so I don’t know what all to expect yet. Still trying to make progress on A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir. It’s not that the book isn’t good – it is so far! My days have just been so chaotic right now that my reading time is a bit limited. Because of that, I have to focus on the review books I have a deadline to post about before the books that I’m just reading for fun. Hoping things even out soon so I can get back to this one. I need to know what’s happening to Laia and Elias!
What do you think you’ll read next?
I have a few new review copies coming up later this month. One is The How and the Why by Cynthia Hand, which will be on blog tour soon with the Fantastic Flying Book Club. I will also be starting The Spectral City by Leanna Renee Hieber. I was approved for the NetGalley ARC for A Sanctuary of Spirits, which is the first book in the series, but I probably need to read the first book first.
That’s what’s on my reading plate this week! Please leave your WWW in comments!

I’ve never read any of her books, so I’m looking forward to discovering a new author! 🙂
The Last Time We Say Goodbye blew me away!
I’ve heard really good things about Angel Mage, and I’m looking forward to getting my hands on it, too! I hope you enjoy it. I’m totally in love with the cover for A Sanctuary of Spirits. It’s gorgeous! happy reading.
Here’s my WWW post.
I’m enjoying Angel Mage so far, although it is a very dense and rich story world. I’m still trying to wrap my head around it all.
