WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
I finished reading Helix by Mary Ting for a blog tour. My stop is tomorrow, so be sure to check it out! I also am very excited to say that I finished Demonglass and Spell Bound, both by Rachel Hawkins. This is exciting because this is the third series I have finished for my “Complete the Series” challenge! I actually did it this time!
What are you currently reading?
I’m still reading Eve 2.0 by Winter Lawrence for an upcoming blog tour. I also just started Shantallow by Cara Martin for another one. It is delightfully creepy so far. I am focusing also on reading Queen by Aimee Carter now that I’ve finished the Hex Hall series. That would make a fourth series completed this year, which would actually exceed my original goal of getting through three of them. I am also still reading Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling, although my Chapter-A-Long project is on hiatus until probably next week while I am dealing with some personal stuff.
What do you think you’ll read next?
My “Complete the Series” challenge is not just about completing old series, but also completing any new series that I start this year. Once I finish Queen, I plan on reading A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir, the second book in the Ember in the Ashes series. I believe that is the only new series I have started this year, other than new releases of series that are still in progress (like Mary Ting’s ISAN series, Brigid Kemmerer’s Cursebreakers series, Alex Hayes’s Chameleon Effect series, and so on). I don’t want to miss when new books come out in these series and then they become new series that I abandoned because I wasn’t paying attention to them. So many books, so little time!
That’s what I’m reading this week! Please leave your WWW in comments!

Completing series…now that’s something struggle with 😁 I also have a bad habit of discovering new series and not starting them from the beginning!
Here’s my WWW https://whatcathyreadnext.wordpress.com/2019/09/11/www-wednesdays-11th-september-19/
That is a major problem for me. Several years ago I made a list and I had over thirty series that I never completed! That’s nuts! Hence the challenge to myself to try and knock some of them out.
Good luck! I daren’t look at how many unfinished series I have but it would be a great project for some time in the future.
Thanks! I’ve made a small dent in it this year, but I need to keep going!
Oh I’ve been wanting to read Ember in the Ashes for awhile now…
It’s really, really good. Can’t wait to dig in to the sequel a bit more!
