WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What are you currently reading!
So many things! I had stopped requesting NetGalley reviews or blog tours back when I was getting ready for vacation because I knew June would be a hectic month, but then I signed up for a bunch of stuff in July and . . . I may have overdone it. I’m currently reading It’s Our Time by Diane Krauss and it’s really good so far. Very dystopian, which I’m a fan of. Also reading Lock Every Door by Riley Sager, which is very mysterious and a bit creepy. Also set in New York City, which I totally dig. I also started reading Stranger Rituals by Kali Rose Schmidt. More of a straight up fantasy so far, but more on the darker side. I’ve only really just started it, but it’s good so far. I’m also still working on Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling.
That’s five books currently in the hopper. That’s a lot for me!
What did you recently finish reading?
I was very excited that I finally finished reading Kushiel’s Avatar by Jacqueline Carey, which means I can cross Phédre’s Trilogy off of my “Complete the Series” challenge list! Yay!!! Those books are so good, but sooooooo looooooooong. I’ll have the review up for this one tomorrow hopefully.
What do you think you’ll read next?
My next set of reviews coming up next month are Ever Alice by H.J. Ramsey and How the Light Gets In by Katy Upperman. I don’t know anything about these books or these authors, so I’m looking forward to discovering new things! On top of that, I will also be reading Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas once I finish Tower of Dawn, so that will be another series to check off my list.
Those are my answers for the week! Please leave yours in comments!

I must start reading some books by Carey! Happy reading.
They are really, really good. 🙂
Order of the Phoenix is the next Harry Potter book I will be reading as well 🙂 I am looking forward to it, but’s such a chunker!
I think it’s the biggest of the bunch, isn’t it? It actually might be my favorite, so I’m looking forward to it.
I can totally relate to the feeling of maaaaybe having overdone it. xD Oops? I’ve started seeing reviews for Lock Every Door come out, and it’s not usually the type of book I’d go out of my way to read, but it sounds so dang good. Happy reading!
Here’s my WWW post.
I am really enjoying Lock Every Door so far.
And I think I keep signing up for a bunch of stuff, expecting to maybe get approved/selected for a few of them – but then get almost all of them. It’s an honor to be picked for these reviews and I’m grateful for them . . . it’s just a lot sometimes!
I totally hear you with that. xD I like to request from the big name publishers, but I always expect that I’ll get, like, 1 out of 5 approved. So I’m surprised (happy, but surprised) if more get approved. And then I’m also sitting there like … welp, I better get reading. xD
Exactly! I’m super excited about it . . . and then I realize that I have several reviews I will have to prepare for, all at the same time. Then I start to panic just a little.
