WWW Wednesday – 5/1/19

WWW New

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

First off though, a quick apology for not posting any of my usual Tuesday posts. The day completely got away from me. Also, is anyone else shocked that it’s May already?? Where is this year going!!!

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading What We Do For Love by Anne Pfeffer for an upcoming blog tour. It’s pretty good so far, just getting interesting. It’s also something outside of my usual genres of YA and fantasy, so that’s cool. I am also reading Kushiel’s Avatar by Jacqueline Carey, the third and final book in Phèdre’s Trilogy. Looking forward to crossing that series off of my “Complete the Series” list. I’m also still, slowly but surely, working my way through Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling. Slowly. But surely.

What did you recently finish reading?

I finally finished Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas, and oh boy, what a cliffhanger! This is the fifth book in the Throne of Glass series, and the stakes are so unbelievably high right now! Love it!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Definitely up next is Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas. I need to know what is going to happen. On top of that, I have two other blog tours this month which I will be starting soon: Art of Death by Becca Vincenza and The Bone Charmer by Breeana Shields. Looking forward to digging into those and super excited to go on tour with them.

Have a great reading week everyone!

  1. I’m curious about What We Do For Love…enjoy! Thanks for sharing, and here’s MY WWW POST

  2. Kushiel’s Avatar sounds interesting. I haven’t read the Throne of Glass series yet, but it seems like a lot of people enjoy them. 🙂 Cliffies are fun, but they can be hard if you’re stuck waiting for the next book, for whatever reason. xD The Bone Charmer is on my TBR, and I look forward to seeing what you think about it.

    Here’s my WWW post.

  3. I hope you enjoy the Sarah J Maas book! 🙂 Enjoy your reading!

  4. Reading Harry Potter is always so much fun! I’m at book number five myself, although I might wait a little until I have more time. Happy reading!

    • I love these books so much! If I wasn’t trying to blog them like this, I’d be done through Deathly Hallows by now, but I’m trying to take my time with these posts and be patient. It’s really hard to do sometimes!

      • I can imagine! The only reason I’m slower rereading them is that I’m working on my Spanish rereads and it takes a lot longer to get through them. Also, I’m not ready to face Umbridge yet. xD

      • Ugh. Umbridge. Yeah, she’s coming up soon. It’s cool that you’re reading them in Spanish. I don’t know any other languages well enough to do that, although I took French back when I was in school. I might be able to get a few words, maybe a sentence or two, but definitely not the full book.

      • Yeah I totally get that, my French is pretty much the same… It would be fun to see how they would have changed the names in French though.
