WWW New

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Go!

What are you currently reading?

I just started Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard. Not much to say about it so far – I need to get more into it to have a firmer opinion. This book seemed to be everywhere when I first heard of it. I’ve also had friends who have read this series and loved it. So I had to pick it up. Also still reading A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin as my bedtime book.

What did you recently finish reading?

Just finished Want by Cindy Pon. I have mixed feelings about it, to be honest. I need to figure out what I thought about it before I write a review.

What do you think you’ll read next?

My current plan is to read Glass Sword by Victoria Aveyard next, since it’s the next book in the series and I don’t want to leave another series unfinished.

That’s it for this week! Leave your WWW in comments!

  1. I’m curious about Want…I hope you enjoy your upcoming books, and thanks for sharing. Here’s MY WWW POST

  2. I think it’s probably safe to say we don’t read the same type of books but good luck with your Complete the Series challenge.

    Here’s my WWW link: https://whatcathyreadnext.wordpress.com/2018/01/10/www-wednesdays-10th-january-18/

  3. I kept on seeing Red Queen around. I was intrigued! Here’s a similar post that I do: https://chrissireads.wordpress.com/2018/01/10/this-week-in-books-93/

  4. I hope you enjoy Red Queen. I admit I have steered clear of that series because the reviews are so mixed. I hear you on unfinished series! I’m trying to finish a few myself at the moment.

    Here’s my WWW.

  5. I’m great for reading only half a series! I love fantasy, though it seems I haven’t read anything in the genre for months. George RR Martin is quite the bedtime selection!

  6. I hope you will enjoy Red Queen! I still wish it would have been a stand-alone, but I hope the series will treat you better. 🙂 Enjoy your books this week and happy reading! Here’s my WWW.

  7. Starting a new series is always a daunting task for me (I don’t know about you, but I have trouble not grabbing all the books even if I’m not that keen on the first novel)… anyway, I think it’s cool you’re working on two at the moment.

Here’s my WWW (you’ll probably see what I mean about series here;-) ): https://edenmabee.wordpress.com/2018/01/11/another-week/

    • I know what you mean. I always feel compelled to finish the series, unless the first book was really terrible – and even then, I’ll usually give the second book a chance before I give up. I have a semi-large list of series that for one reason or another I just never finished. Not that I didn’t like them, I just stopped reading them. Something shiny probably walked by and I got distracted. 🙂
