Back on track now!
WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On A World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Go!
What are you currently reading?
As I said in my last post yesterday (or today – whatever), I am currently reading The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. I am currently almost halfway through it. As a side note, I went on GoodReads to try and find an edition with the same cover art as my copy and boy-oh-boy does this one have a lot of covers! It’s kind of crazy.
What did you recently finish reading?
The very last thing I finished was a re-read of If I Stay by Gayle Forman. Such a beautiful book. I remember the first time I read it, I got so lost in it that I read it almost in one sitting (I think I got up to get food or something, but that was it). I basically did it the same way this time too. I also wrote a review of this a while back, which you can find here.
I also read You’re Never Weird on the Internet (almost) by Felicia Day. I absolutely adore her! This is a fun, quirky memoir that also tackles some pretty serious stuff, like her issues with anxiety and depression, or her experiences with Gamergate. I will have to write a proper review on this one at some point, but for now I will just recommend that you watch The Guild so that you will understand why I love her.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’ve mentioned before that I enjoy reading along with the GoodReads Seasonal Reading Challenge. It forces me to be more creative with my reading instead of just re-reading the same stuff over and over (which I am very apt to do – I want to re-read Harry Potter so bad right now!). So the next thing I will read, for one of their goals, is The Plantation by Stella Samiotou-Fitzsimons. I got this one for free on Book Bub and don’t know much about it, so it should be interesting.
There are my answers for this week! Please let me know what you are reading so I can add even more books to my never-ending TBR mountain!

WWW Wednesday is very good for growing that TBR mountain, isn’t it? I always find myself adding at least one book a week, usually more.
I had forgotten Felicia Day put out a memoir. I want to try reading more, and I expect I’ll enjoy hers, so I’ll have to pick it up – eventually. Hello, Mount TBR. Would you like to grow a bit higher?
Thanks for visiting my WWW post and happy reading!
LOL Mount TBR. I should have taken up mountain climbing!
If I Stay was a good one…thanks for sharing, and enjoy your reading.
So good, isn’t it! I knew what would happen and I still got misty-eyed!
If I Stay was a great read! That’s awesome you found time to re-read it. I especially loved its sequel. Happy reading!
I liked the sequel as well, especially since I had no idea what to expect.
Happy to see you’ve had such a great book week. I totally understand the Tolkien title search. I listen to quite a few audiobooks and it’s a bit intimidating trying to find the correct title – and that is for lesser known books. I can’t imagine the amount of pages for The Hobbit versions they are.
Good luck with The Plantation. I can’t say I’ve ever heard of it before. Happy WWW! (No post from me this week, just cruising around everyone else’s 😊)
Thanks for “cruising” by! 🙂
I hope you are enjoying The Hobbit! And the Felicia Day memoir is definitely high on my wishlist. I hope you will enjoy your books this week and happy reading! Here’s my WWW.
The Felicia Day memoir was excellent. A really quick read too – I finished it in two days over the Christmas holiday.
I hope you’re liking The Hobbit. I read it years ago and, not surprisingly, had a copy with a different cover haha. Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!
I’m enjoying it this time around. I had a hard time with it the first time I read it.
I read “If I Stay” a few years ago, the series itself was great. Haven’t been able to bring myself to watch the movie though, I’m afraid I’ll cry.
Thanks for stopping by Disappear Into Reading! 🙂
Yeah, I haven’t watched the movie either, although the trailers and commercial spots looked great. One of these days, when I need a good cry, I’ll give it a go.
Yes! When you need a good cry, that is exactly the time to watch it.
What a wonderful collection of books!
The Hobbit is one of my absolute favourite reads! Is it a reread or a first time?
Thanks for dropping by my WWW earlier. Happy Reading 🙂
It is a re-read, but I think I’ve only read it once before and it was a long time ago. So practically a first time. 😉
