Teaser Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted at A Daily Rhythm. Here are the rules if you want to play along:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
The next night, we made the decision to leave. Neither of us was going to be able to hold off our parents forever – one of them would smell a rat pretty soon. And we weren’t finding the barest whisper of a clue. I doubted we would – even if we stayed up here for a year.
~ Dollhouse by Anya Allyn
I’m re-reading this one to get ready to finish up this series. I remember it being really good and super creepy, although I haven’t gotten to the creepy bits yet. I’m curious to see how the rest of the series goes.
Please leave your teasers in comments!

Creepy bits? I don’t do scary very well! I hope you can stop by:

I’m hoping that since this is the second time reading it, it won’t be as creepy. And it’s not that bad, unless you have a problem with dolls and clowns . . . maybe it is that bad. 🙂
I’ve never heard of this series, but it sounds intriguing.
Here’s my TT for this week: Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes.
The first book was very interesting – mysterious and creepy, with a lot of questions left at the end. I’m looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
I haven’t heard of this book before but it does sound interesting. My teaser this week comes from The Fine Art of Murder by Emily Barnes. Happy reading!
It’s a pretty good story – a mystery combined with some spooky supernatural stuff. I can’t wait to read the next ones in the series.
Okay, now you have really piqued my interest! Looking this one up….and here is mine: “SHE’S NOT THERE”
Yay! I love piquing people’s interest! 🙂
I’m not too good with “creepy” but will put this on my list. Here’s my intro and teaser: http://wp.me/p4DMf0-19D
I know some people have phobias about dolls and/or clowns. If you do, don’t read this. Trust me on that one! It really feeds into those fears. Otherwise, you might want to give it a go. It’s creepy, but in a good way. 🙂
Interesting tease. Makes me want to know what is happening.
Lots of things are happening, and everything is about to get worse for these characters. This is from very close to the beginning of the story, so the real stuff is about to happen and soon. 🙂
I’m wondering why they’re looking for clues. Good teaser!
My Tuesday post features GIRL IN HYACINTH BLUE.
They are looking for clues because a friend of theirs disappeared in the woods when they were hiking for a school project. They are trying to find her. Which of course, they eventually do, and that’s where the creepy, spooky fun begins! 🙂
