WWW Wednesday for September 18th

www_wednesdays4

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by MizB at “Should Be Reading.” Three questions, three answers. Go!

What are you currently reading?

I’m actually taking a little bit of a break, shockingly enough. I still have a lot of reviews to catch up on and don’t really want to read anything new until I get caught up, or at least close to caught up. That doesn’t mean that I’m not reading though – I’ve decided to indulge a bit and re-read The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. I’ve been wanting to re-read it ever since I finished it, so now is a good opportunity. ๐Ÿ™‚

What did you recently finish reading?

I recently finished re-reading Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. As you know, I really like that book. A lot. The podcast will be talking about it this weekend, so be sure to check that out. Or you can check out the review I wrote a while back. Link is here.

I also recently finished If I Stay by Gayle Forman. Actually, I read this book in one sitting last Saturday. It’s been a while since a book has done that to me. Luckily it’s not a terribly long book. It was also really good, so expect a review at some point.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I need to go to the library, since I just found out that my library card expired. Who knew they could do that? If I can make it to the library, then I will read Where She Went by Gayle Forman, the sequel to If I Stay. If I can’t get to the library, then it will be Someday, Someday, Maybe by Lauren Graham. Or I might do another re-read of something while I try to get caught up. So lots of possibilities here.

Be sure to leave your WWW in comments! And don’t forget to vote for the next part of Heritage! Link is here!

  1. Enjoy your break! I have so many books I want to reread and feel like I’ll never get the chance. I might have to dedicate a whole month to rereads. I posted here: http://lipsyy.wordpress.com/2013/09/18/www-wednesday-17-09-2013/

    • I’m fine with re-reads usually, but I’ve already read The Night Circus this year, so I can’t count it again towards my reading goal. Which is fine, since I’m almost done with my reading goal (65 books out of 70) and it’s only September. I’m letting myself take a break, since most of my reading either goes towards my goal or provides content for the blog. Since I’m ahead on both (or behind, depending on how you look at it), I am giving myself permission. ๐Ÿ™‚

Do I over think things? Of course! That’s what makes it fun!

  2. I love the Night Circus, I actually miss it since I have finished reading it! I didn’t know there was a sequel to ‘If I Stay’, I read it on holiday a few years ago and thought it was really good so will be looking that up x

    • I think Where She Went is about Mia going to Julliard? I’m not sure how that will work, since the main hook of If I Stay had to do with her being, well, nearly dead. But we’ll see.

The Night Circus is just awesome. It’s even better the second time around.

      • Hmmm that does sound very different, i’ll be interested to see how it compares to the first and how the author leads in to the new story ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s beautiful isn’t it, I think it will definately be one I read over and over again ๐Ÿ™‚ I just wish it was real! x

  3. I didn’t enjoy The Night Circus as much as I’d hoped. I’m glad you enjoyed it enough to re-read it though! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • I think I’m enjoying it even more the second time around because I know where she’s going with it. Now I can just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere instead of worrying like crazy about Celia and Marco. And Bailey – I just love Bailey. Can I adopt him?

  4. I’ve taken a hiatus this week too! Happy reading. Enjoy the library.

  5. It’s good to play catch up sometimes. The Night Circus has been on my shelf for ages. I really need to get into it sometime. Maybe your review will inspire me!

    • The Night Circus is a beautiful book, definitely one of my favorites that I’ve read this year. I’ve been wanting to re-read it ever since I finished it the first time, but never had the chance. It’s even better the second time through.

  6. Love The Night Circus Denise, hope you enjoy your re-read. Here’s my link http://wp.me/p32hC2-nH
