Weekly Wrap Up

I’ll be honest – this week, I’ve been feeling a bit out of sorts. I haven’t been reading or blogging as much because it’s been a little hard to concentrate. I think I may have stretched myself too thin. First off, I have a new show in rehearsals. Luckily, my role in this show is nowhere as strenuous as my last one was. I’m actually not in it all that much and, weirdly enough, I’m kind of happy about that. I don’t know if I would be able to do another crazy, high energy show right now.

Secondly, work has been super busy lately, and I’m not even in my busiest period yet – that will be sometime in the middle of next month. Right now is mostly a bunch of preparation leading up to peak fundraiser season and, after that, we dive immediately into the holidays. It almost feels like climbing a tall roller coaster. I know everything is going to work out, since it usually does and I’m very good at my job, but it feels very overwhelming right now.

Lastly, and this one is a very good thing, I am going full steam ahead with Tabby Cat Textiles‘ Grand Re-Opening on November 1st. For anyone new here, Tabby Cat is my Etsy store where I sell some of my crocheted scarves, hats and things. I got all the new listings saved as drafts so that on the big day, I just have to select all and publish. I made social media posts and scheduled them counting down to the big day, each one giving a small sneak peek at one of the new items. Here’s an example:
