Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is:
Ten Book Titles That Describe Me/My Life
This is a fun topic! Also could potentially be very eye opening as I scroll through my GoodReads. In no particular order, here are some titles, mostly from my TBR that describe me.
- Flawed by Cecelia Ahern – Aren’t we all?
- The Pale Ones by Bartholemew Bennett – If you’ve ever seen my skin tone, you would understand. I avoid the sunshine like the plague!
- The Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black – I am constantly, persistently cold. Ask anyone. I bought a heated shawl for my office at work because I couldn’t take it.
- Never Let Me Sleep by Jennifer Brozek – Shoutout to my insomnia! We’ve been such close friends for so many years!
- The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky – I am not very good at being social, although I’ve gotten better as I’ve gotten older. When I was the age of the characters in this book, though, I was definitely a wallflower and didn’t talk much.
- Beautiful Chaos by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl – I like to think that this perfectly describes the inside of my brain at times. Complete chaos, but weirdly beautiful.
- Devilish by Maureen Johnson – Maybe. Just a little. (insert evil chuckle here)
- Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson – Life is full of crazy contradictions.
- Never Contented Things by Sarah Porter – The title is referring to the fae, but I also never really feel content. I’m always looking for the next thing, or always vibrating on a weird frequency.
- The Story of Awkward by R.K. Ryals – Yeah. I’ve always been on the awkward side. At this point, I’ve just embraced it. What can you do?
