Top Ten Tuesday – March 10, 2026

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by Jana at That Artsy Reader Girl. This week’s topic is:

Ten (or Eight) Book Titles Featuring Ordinal Numbers

This one is interesting. As mentioned in Jana’s post, ordinal numbers aren’t just numbers – it’s specifically “first,” “second,” “tenth,” etc. That makes it a bit more challenging, and on my first pass through my GoodReads list of books I’ve read, I only had a few. Expanding that to my TBR helped a bit, but I still only had eight within my shelves. Here’s what I have:

  1. Firstborn by Ryan Attard
  2. The Third Gilmore Girl by Kelly Bishop
  3. The First Binding by R.R. Virdi
  4. The Second Sign by Elizabeth Arroyo
  5. Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros (this is on everyone’s list today, I’m sure)
  6. The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin
  7. The 53rd Parallel by Carl Nordgren
  8. Alanna: The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce

Please leave your top tens in comments!

  1. The Fifth Season was also on my list!

  2. Great list! The Fifth Season and Third Gilmore are great books!

  3. Fourth Wing did not make it on my list because I misread the prompt. 😁🙄

    Here is my list: https://top100booksreviews.wordpress.com/2026/03/10/ttt-one-is-the-loneliest-number/

  4. The Fifth Season is about as popular as Fourth Wing on this weeks lists.

    Thanks for sharing your #TTT

  5. This prompt seems really tough! Since I missed TTT last week, I did last week’s topic instead. Much easier!

    Happy TTT!
