WWW Wednesday – December 3, 2025

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

I haven’t actually finished anything since last week, although I did decide to DNF The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt. I don’t know, it just wasn’t clicking for me. It’s very well written and very clear that Haidt is an excellent writer and researcher, but it also felt like I was reading a textbook. I just wasn’t feeling it.

What are you currently reading?

I’m still working through House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J. Maas. Made good progress this week and should hopefully finish it in the next few days.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Reading these last two gigantic books has been leading to one thing: getting to read House of Flame and Shadow by Sarah J. Maas for my GoodReads Awards challenge. I plan to do this challenge next year, and I’m hoping that there aren’t more huge series to get through for them. I’m enjoying this one though.

That’s my reading for the week!

  1. DNF — made me laugh. I have several books I have picked up at the library this past year that fall into the DNF category. These days Dan Brown’s newest (the Secret of Secrets with russian R) might get there. I’m still hanging on the fun of the Da Vinci Code – I suppose.

  2. Finished- Little Village of Booklovers

Currently- Elektra (to note almost finished)

    Next- A Christmas Carol

  3. Good luck with the Crescent City books. A shame about the DNF, still not every book is for everyone. I would struggle with something that reads like a textbook!

    Have a great week!
