How many “book” bags do you have? Do you use all of them?
I probably only have two bags that I would consider “book” bags. One of them is a messenger bag that I bought years ago and used when I was in college. It’s supposed to be for a laptop (which I sometimes use it for now), but I used it to lug around textbooks back in the day.
During my last trip to NYC, my hubby and I went to the Strand and I bought one of their totebags. It has their famous red logo on it with a print of a bunch of cat silhouettes in the background. I’m currently using it as a purse but it can easily fit a couple of books in their along with the rest of my things.

They sound good. I love a tote bag! I have one main book bag that I got last year. Specifically for books it is waterproof and drop proof apparently.

Nice! I don’t have a lot of tote bags, but I do have a lot of purses that I snag from secondhand shops and thrift stores.
We seem to collect them from our many trips to Bluewater Shopping Centre. Places just give them out for free!
I literally bought a shoulder book bag a few days ago, but I didn’t mention it as my answer to today’s prompt because I’m not using it for books.
Yeah, I don’t really have a bag that is just for books these days – I don’t read as many physical copies as I used to. Ebooks are easier for me in a lot of ways. But my little tote that I use as a purse is from a famous bookstore, so I’m counting it lol.
I loved my messenger bag. I used it for my college books, for my laptop, roadtrip supplies…Its uses were endless. it was so well used and so old it eventually fell apart and i never found one I liked enough to replace it.
Friday Book Beginnings & Book Blogger Hop
My messenger bag was supposed to just be for a laptop, but that thing has been used for everything – a book bag, an overnight bag, a gym bag. It’s starting to get worn out though, which is sad. That bag has been through a lot!
