WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
I finished my read from last week, The Saint of Bright Doors by Vajra Chandrasekera. I am very confused. It was good, but definitely one of the strangest books I’ve ever read. I’ll leave the details for whenever I get around to writing a proper review, but I’m still kind of processing this one.
What are you currently reading?
I decided to go with another one of those smaller GoodReads challenges for my next read, since they opened up their next block on the 15th. This challenge is called “Community Picks” and involves picking one book from this list and reading it before the end of the year. I’m really enjoying this added layer of challenge from GoodReads. It’s definitely given me some good recommendations and I’ve saved a lot of the lists they’ve used for future reads. For this one, I am reading When We Were Silent by Fiona McPhillips. I don’t know anything about this book or this author, but I’m looking forward to finding out.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Since I made my “Complete the Series” goal, I need to work on reading my GoodReads Awards list. I only have five left, but two of them are later books in series, so I will need to track down the first books for those. For now, I’m going with the one that my library currently had available, which is The Bookshop: A History of the American Bookstore by Evan Friss. This won for Best History/Biography last year and looks really interesting. We all love a good bookstore, right!
That’s my reading for the week!
Please leave your WWW in comments!

My post:
I don’t read a lot of history or non-fiction, so I’m looking forward to it.
Me neither. I have yet to find something non fiction that holds my interest. I have a Jane Austen book on Netgalley in my TBR so we shall see if that is any good!
Enjoy!
I love the sound of The Bookshop!
