WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
Since last week, I’ve finished a fair amount of books. I finished my current read from last WWW, which was Their Fractured Light by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner. This was the final book in the Starbound trilogy and another series to cross off my “Complete the Series” challenge. I also finished Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins. This is the new Hunger Games prequel, and I will admit, I had my doubts in the middle of things how it all was going to connect back to the characters I know from the original books, but I never should have worried. Collins is brilliant. On top of those, I ALSO finished Funny Story by Emily Henry. This is one of the GoodReads Award winners that I wanted to read. It won for Best Romance (and also for Best Audiobook), which isn’t usually a genre I read much of, but I really enjoyed it.
What are you currently reading?
Technically I haven’t started it yet, but today I will be starting The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune. I’ve never read this author, but I’ve heard such good things about this book. Should be fun.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Well, The House in the Cerulean Sea is the first book of a series, so my next read will be Somewhere Beyond the Sea by T.J. Klune. This won the GoodReads Award last year for Best Fantasy, which is what originally drew me to this series. It also seems to be a duology? I like that.
That’s my reading for the week!

How great was Sunrise on the Reaping, I finished it recently too. Collins really does so well with all of those books. I think the voices are the characters carry through all the books and the setting and time are created so well. I love them.
