WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!
What did you recently finish reading?
Quite a few things, since my last WWW post was at the beginning of December. I listed these on my month in review for December, but here they are again just for giggles.
- Jane Anonymous by Laurie Faria Stolarz
- Your Blood, My Bones by Kelly Andrew
- The Xibalba Murders by Lyn Hamilton
- The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman
- Zeus is a Dick by Susie Donkin
- Looking for Alaska by John Green
- The Kaiju Preservation Society by John Scalzi
- The Christmas Pearl by Dorothea Benton Frank
- An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green
In addition to that, I also finally, FINALLY, finished Passion by Lauren Kate. I actually restarted the book again at the beginning of January, just to refresh my memory of what was going on. I also, just yesterday, finished Rapture by Lauren Kate. This is the fourth and, for me, last book in this series. GoodReads does list another book as the fifth book in the series, but it’s more of a side story and not part of the main plot. I may read it one day, but not right now. This does mean that I can cross this off my “Complete the Series” list, so yay!
What are you currently reading?
The only thing I am currently reading, since I just finished Rapture, is A Beautifully Foolish Endeavor by Hank Green. I’m listening to the audio book and the interesting thing about this is that there’s not just one narrator, not two narrators, but a whole bunch of them. Twelve of them, according to Libby. So far I’ve only heard three – this book is written in first person POV, but it passes between different characters from the first book. Each character so far has a different narrator and it’s working really well. I don’t remember there being twelve different narrating characters when I read this the first time, but it’s been a few years, so maybe I’m just not remembering it correctly. I’m looking forward to seeing how it all works out.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I’ve got a few options, and I’m not sure which direction I’ll go yet. Part of me wants to start another series from my “Complete the Series” challenge, and the one that draws me the most would be Axiom’s End by Lindsay Ellis. The final book in that series came out last year and I didn’t have a chance to read it. I also plan to do a book swap thingy later this month – I picked Caraval by Stephanie Garber for my books, so I may knock that one out. Or I might pick something else entirely. Who knows!
That’s my reading for the week!

Nice post 🌅🌅
Today I learned that Axiom’s End is a series and now I’m sad to start something else that I only have the first book for!
Happy reading this week 🙂
