WWW Wednesday – December 4, 2024

WWW Wednesday is a weekly feature hosted by Sam at Taking On a World of Words. Three questions, three answers. Let’s go!

What did you recently finish reading?

Since my last WWW post, I’ve only finished two books. I finished The Change by Kirsten Miller for last month’s book club. It was really good and I hope to have a review up soon. I also had a last minute read of Starter Villain by John Scalzi. My husband and I went on a little road trip and wanted an audio book to listen to. He had read this one and loved it, so I suggested we listen to it since I hadn’t read it yet. It was one of the funniest books I’ve read in a while. So good.

What are you currently reading?

Several things. I started two books for prompts with the Reindeer Readathon. I am listening to Jane Anonymous by Laurie Faria Stolarz and reading Your Blood, My Bones by Kelly Andrew. Both work with the readathon and both go towards my A-to-Z challenge, which is currently limping its way to completion. Both are also super creepy in very different ways and I’m loving them. I am also reading Passion by Lauren Kate, although I’ve slowed a bit on that one. Need to get back on it.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’ll definitely read Rapture by Lauren Kate. I’ve come this far with this series and I’m not backing down now. There are many questions I still need answers to. I will also be reading The Xibalba Murders by Lyn Hamilton. This is not something that I would usually read, but I needed a book for X in the A-to-Z Challenge, so I went through GoodReads and found this. It sounds interesting (and will also work for the readathon, so yay!)

That’s my reading for the week!
