REINDEER READATHON 2024!

I am very excited to be taking part in the Reindeer Readathon again this year! This is a reading challenge throughout the month of December with reading prompts for each of Santa’s reindeer. We are separated out into teams (let’s go Team Snowflake!) and get points based on how many prompts we complete. Winning team gets bragging rights for the rest of the year. Here are the prompts:

In addition to the regular prompts, you can also add a bonus to your read.

This will be even more fun this year because they have a Discord server. Before, you had to follow hashtags and try to find some of your teammates, but now everyone is conveniently together in one place. I’ve put together a TBR that will hopefully also help with completing my A-to-Z challenge if I can do all of these.

That’s ten books to try to get through in a month, when I’ve been currently struggling to read four. I’ve got some that I’ve pulled off my owned TBR, some from my want-to-buy list, and others pulled out of the ether (or random GoodReads lists). I have no idea how this is going to go, but I think it will be fun nonetheless. Maybe it will give me more motivation to read some more, even when I’m tired.
